Why CRC SP 400 500 ml is Important ?
Features :
• Long term corrosion protection.
• Displaces and seals out water and moisture.
• Safe on all metal surfaces, does not stain.
• Safe on most rubbers, plastics and coatings. Test on sensitive or stressed materials before use.
• Can be removed or diluted for film thickness variation, with petroleum solvents.
• Corrosion resistance fulfills the salt spray criteria of MIL-C-16173°E grade 4.
Applications :
• Long term outdoor corrosion protection.
• Corrosion protection during overseas transport.
• Seasonal corrosion protection.
• Corrosion protection of all ferrous materials.
• To be used for brine or chloride resistance in refrigeration plants.
Directions :
• Shake well before use.
• Stir or mix bulk products well before use.
• Repeat frequently during the application.
• Use only with adequate ventilation.
• Do not use on energized equipment.
• Apply to a clean, dry surface.
• Clean the aerosol valve by turning the can upside down and spraying until only propellant escapes.
• Film thickness may be adjusted by thinning with petroleum solvents, but corrosion resistance varies with film
thickness.
For application in very humid conditions, CRC 3-36 should be applied first for complete moisture displacement.
Allow 2 to 4 hours for solvent evaporation before SP 400 II is applied.
• A safety data sheet (MSDS) according to EC Regulation N° 1907/2006 Art.31 and amendments is available
for all CRC products.
